Sidewalk Chalk Art

So. I was Stumbling some time ago and I happened upon these delightful pictures. I nearly died. They're so fabulous. I just had to share them with you.

These drawings were done from a specific view in order to have the appearance of being three-dimensional. The artists who did them were quite talented. I'm impressed, and mildly jealous. Perhaps, one day, I'll do something similar. Don't hold your breath though...

But, should I ever actually accomplish drawing something of this caliber, I would of course expect for passersby to attempt to interact with my creations and to take silly pictures like this. I'm hoping that this isn't too much to ask for.
Because it'd be a bit of a waste for me to have drawn something so supafly-fantastic and have nobody try to enjoy it in some kind of public manner.  I think this photo might be my favorite. ------->

Standing on the shoulders of Giants...

So. I've done absolutely nothing today besides watching The Dollhouse.
It's an amazing show.
IIt was created by Joss Whedon.
So.

It's clearly fabulous.
The basic premise of the show is that there is a secret organization that can erase people's memories and replace them with different personalities. These people are then "rented" out to high-paying clients who can basically use them to fulfill their fantasies. The people who have had their memories and personalities "wiped" are called "Dolls" when they are in the Dollhouse complex. Once they have been given a new persona and sent out on an "Engagement" they are then called "Actives." Each Doll has a "Handler" who ensures that each engagement is resolved and completed without any danger to the Active.
The show follows a specific Doll named Echo (Eliza Dushku).
I really love this show. Joss Whedon is a creative genius and he knows just how to lead on an audience, get them comfortable, give them just enough, and then take all of that away and give them something they never expected. He's glorious.

A storm is coming....a Gay storm

So. A while ago this video voicing opposition to Gay Marriage appeared on the Interwebz. And, since I know nothing about anything, ever, I've only just found out about it. It's pretty hilarious. It's also a bit scary to think that these people are being absolutely serious...
In response to this video, a group of really funny people (Sarah Chalke <3) made their own version. That video can be seen here. It's a pretty amazing video, I'm not gonna lie. You'll definitely laugh. Maybe.

I must be dreaming...

So. One Day. When I'm old and Gray.
I'll live a miserly life.
I'll have a gigantic house.
I'll share it with all of my friends.
<---- And my babies.
A guest house for Siren and Frankie.
Ben can live there too.
Jamie will be rich and living out of the country. How good for her... Riley will just use up all of my bandwidth and he'll lock himself inside of an Anime vault. He'll only leave it to replenish his mini-fridge.
Jeana will occupy a wing for herself. She'll fill it with cats and 30-year old Newspapers.
Kimble will also have her own wing, with roof access, where she'll keep her pigeons ('cause momma loves her babies). Carrie'll be successful and have her own fabulous family and we'll all outwardly resent her for it. So will Cassandra. She'll be my neighbor. Our houses will be connected by enclosed walkways that lead to the "Beauty and the Beast" library that we'll have had built.
It'll be a cozy kind of home -- one that's warm and inviting, as long as you can ignore the sense of hopelessness and longing for companionship.

If only I had some talent...
