~Kali~
Kali's my favorite Hindu goddess, if not my favorite goddess overall. She's multifaceted, and fabulous! She's associated with eternal energy, as well as change in time, where she is constant and everything around her is changing.. She was first seen as an agent of destruction and annihilation. In a more contemporary sense, she's seen as a benevolent mother. In Tantric beliefs, Kali is regarded as the unchanging energy from which the gods Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva arise and fall. And, in case you didn't know, Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva are all major deities in the Hindu faith. Kali is basically their mother. She gives them life and sustenance.
Without her, the universe is nothing.
